On a usual evening in the expanding city of Cairo, Mark is driving for an extended period of time. As he navigates through the streets, the scenery shifts abruptly between the familiar old city and the rapidly developing new districts. As night falls, the city’s hustle and bustle gives way to an eerie calm, signaling the anticipated presence of bandits.

Taking a blind turn, Mark suddenly finds himself driving towards a roadblock. As he approaches, he is signaled to stop and comes face to face with a group of bandits. As Mark can only comply with their
orders, the bandits conduct a thorough search of his belongings and his car. Uncertain of how or when they will let him go, he remains calm and compliant.
